Where will you find help?
“And the asses of Kish Saul’s father were lost. And Kish said to Saul, his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses.”
“And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.”
“Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.” 1 Sam. 9:3,6,10.(KJV).
Saul was in trouble.
The asses of his father were lost.
Saul could not find them.
His servant suggested they go to the prophet, the man of God.
Did you also lose your possessions?
What will you do if you are in trouble?
Saul’s servant pointed him to God.
Where are you directing people to seek help?
Will you also make the wise decision to go to God?
“Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too.” John 14:6 TPT
The question is, what is your most valuable possession?
Will it not be your eternal Life?
Where will you go to find protection for your most valuable possession?
God can help with everything.
He helps in our daily Life.
He also helps us find the Way to eternal Life with Him.
Saul did not go to other people.
He went to the man of God.
Where do you go for help?
Do you go to your friends or to God?
Application to the Christian Life:
Go to God when you are in need.
Go to God when you want to reach the Kingdom of God.
Go to God with everything.
Trust Him.
Follow Him.
