“I waited and waited and waited for GOD… At last he looked; finally he listened.” Psalm 40:1
Waiting on God to bring to pass the promises HE has made is one of the most challenging features of our walk with HIM. Initially when we come to the Lord some requests were almost instant. Miracles happened immediately and we are thrilled serving God. However we begin to notice that one aspect of our desire or even a glaring need is not granted automatically like others then we realize that on this particular issue we have to practically wait on HIM. We can not hurry the Creator to perform within our time frame.
This phase of our life while we “waited and waited for God is what the psalmist in the above verses describes.
How do you handle your waiting time especially when you see this issue you are waiting on Him for did not take this long for others to get results?
Like the case of Hannah wanting a child and Peninnah her rival was having babies without any stress.
What do you do while others are laughing at you that you don’t have proof that you are serving God?
HE will surely come through. Don’t Give Up.
We are used to timing and programming things like the computer but God at times does not work that way.
Don’t grumble.
Don’t abandon the faith at this crucial waiting moment.
Peter went fishing again immediately after the crucifixion of our Lord and unfortunately some disciples went with him but they caught nothing. Eventually the resurrection came.
Keep waiting.
Your resurrection time is coming.
“Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying,
“God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.”Isaiah 40: 27-31

Keep your focus on God.
No negative Confession.
Keep waiting.
HE will surely show up and you will soon have a song of Praise in you mouth for your Victory.
