The Pandemic father.

The Pandemic father.
What Type of father have you been in the Last One Year?
The Covid-19 Pandemic brought up so many challenges for the father.
The father had to hear and listen to two different fathers.
The choice of the father they hear from greatly influenced their choices
One father was busy speaking fears, lies, deception, and panic.
The other Father has been speaking Peace, Assurance, and Hope.
Evidently, who the father listened to affects the household.
This is what one father offers:
“You are the offspring of your father, the devil, and you serve your father very well, passionately carrying out his desires. He’s been a murderer right from the start! He never stood with the truth, for he’s full of nothing but lies—lying is his native tongue. He is a master of deception and the father of lies!” John 8:44(TPT)
Another Father offers:
“Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3(TPT)
What have the people under your fatherhood been experiencing?
Never too late to choose the right father:
Who will Bless and Prosper those under your fatherhood?
“Pastor, I don’t even know my father?
I have asked ever since.
Am told I just happened.”
There is a Father who is the author of life.
Earthly circumstances may make it difficult to trace your father.
“In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was already with God in the beginning.”
John 1:1-2(GW)
Since you have a beginning, God the Father knows about you.
“Pastor, our own father left us and does not even care?
God has pledged to be responsible for you too.
Hear Him:
“To the fatherless, he is a father. To the widow, he is a champion friend.
The lonely he makes part of a family. The prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place!…” Psalm 68:5-6(TPT)
He takes care of the widow too.
All those heartaches, all those promises, and plans you and your late spouse made together?
God, the father, got you covered.
HE saw both of you when you were making all that talk with each other.
HE is with you as your father and defender.
Are you like Phillip still asking, “show us the Father” (John 14:9)
Jesus is speaking to you as He did to Philip:
“Don’t you believe that the father is living in me and that I am living in the father? Even my words are not my own but come from my father, for he lives in me and performs his miracles of power through me. Believe that I live as one with my father and that my father lives as one with me—or at least, believe because of the mighty miracles I have done.”
John 14:10-11(TPT)
Dear earthly father, as the world celebrates Father’s Day:
Which Father are you subjected to?
Choose life so that your lineage could say too :
“Your pleasant path. Leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges. that come with following you!” Psalm 16:6 (TPT)
