Blessed are you when people insult you…

Blessed are you when people insult you…
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, lie, and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me.” Matthew 5:11(GW)
Really?
Am I blessed when people deliberately insult me?
Yes.
You are blessed when the insult and accusations are based on your faith.

Challenges of life include people saying false things about you.

It hurts more when it is coming from the people you trust and rely on:
The brethren that you are of the same faith, fellowship, ministry, and church are those behind the falsehood.
Our perfect example, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, says you are Blessed.
Don’t react in the flesh.

The more you try to clear yourself using logic and common sense, the deeper you hurt yourself.
You are not the first person that will be wrongly accused, and you won’t be the last.
Turn over everything to God and allow Him to direct you step by step.
“with gentleness and respect. Maintain a clean conscience, so that those who slander you for living a pure life in Christ will have to lie about you and will be ashamed because of their slander” 1 Peter 3:16(TPT)

Be consistent in your walk in the faith.

Don’t give up your purposeful life because of people who don’t understand you.
The truth will always come up no matter how slow it may seem.
“The LORD is fighting for you! So be still!” Exodus 14:14(GW)
Again don’t descend into their level.
Don’t start making a tour of going round to explain your side of the story.
Actually, you may just be letting some people know for the first time what the gossip was about in your bid to “clear the air.”
“But I promise you, no weapon meant to hurt you will succeed, and you will refute every accusing word spoken against you. This promise is the inheritance of Yahweh’s servants, and their vindication is from me,” says Yahweh.” Isaiah 54:17(TPT)

Keep doing the right thing God has instructed you to do.
Their false stories and rumors are to distract you.
Remember Nehemiah when he was building the wall.
Sanballat and Tobiah are always around. (Nehemiah 4-6)
Stay focused on your call.
Never join the gossip prayer meeting.
Don’t enjoy the negative stories about others.
If another child of your father truly falls, pray and restore such.
(Galatians 6)
“How ecstatic you can be when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me!” Matthew 5:11 (TPT)

Let each one of you speak Truth with his neighbor.

Let each one of you speak Truth with his neighbor.

“Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.” Ephesians 4:25 (NKJV)

Do You Speak the Truth?

Do You always speak the Truth?

Do you even speak the Truth to your neighbors?

God’s standard for you is always to be truthful in all your dealings.

You have possibly heard the expression of being “economical with the truth.”

That “excuse” is not for you as a Kingdom representative.

As children of God, we are to live and manifest the nature of God.

God is always true.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

Numbers 23:19(KJV)

Jesus is the Truth.

“Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too.” John 14:16(TPT)

How do you relate to your neighbor?

So stop telling lies.

Let us say to our neighbors the Truth.

Again, who is your neighbor?

“Stop lying to each other; tell the truth, for we are parts of each other, and when we lie to each other, we are hurting ourselves.” Ephesians 4:25(TLB)

Everything is not competition.

Live a truthful life.

Literarily people always try to outdo the neighbor.

As a child of God, that’s not your purpose in Life.

Be true to God and yourself.

Stop “packaging “yourself to be what you are not.

“The cravings of the self-life are obvious: Sexual immorality, lustful thoughts, pornography,  chasings after things instead of God, manipulating others, hatred of those who get in your Way, senseless arguments, resentment when others are favored, temper tantrums, angry quarrels, only thinking of yourself, being in love with your own opinions,  being envious of the blessings of others, murder, uncontrolled addictions, wild parties, and all other similar behavior. Haven’t I already warned you that those who use their “freedom” for these things would not inherit the kingdom realm of God!” Galatians 5:19-21(TPT)

Do you want to make it to heaven?

Speak the Truth.

Embrace truth in all areas of your Life.

Especially to your neighbor.

Simon Peter had brought along a sword.

“Simon Peter had brought along a sword. He now pulled it out and struck at the servant of the high priest. The servant’s name was Malchus, and Peter cut off his right ear. 11 Jesus told Peter, “Put your sword away. I must drink from the cup that the Father has given me.”
John 18:10-11 (CEV)

What are you bringing into the new year with your own limited mind?

Peter figured out that Jesus was in danger, and he had to help.
His help, like many humans today, is minimal.
Let me remind you again:
The phrase “Heaven help those who help themselves is not in the Bible.”
God wants you in a personal relationship with HIM.

When you are in CHRIST, you are totally dependent on HIM alone.
“For what the world says is wisdom is actually foolishness in God’s eyes. As it is written: The cleverness of the know-it-alls   becomes the trap that ensnares them.”
1 Corinthians 3:19 (TPT)

Your reliance on the flesh will always fail you.
No matter the challenge, lean and depend entirely on God to guide you through.
Don’t deceive yourself that you are a child of God and seek more power from the occult.

The Bible says you must Flee from all such work of darkness.
“Have nothing to do with the useless works that darkness produces. Instead, expose them for what they are.”
Ephesians 5:11 (GW)

Whatever challenge you may be facing, God can see you through.
2021 The Year of Joyful Exploits Surpassing Expectations.
Serve God Joyfully.
Trust HIM wholeheartedly.
Not one leg in the church and one in the world.
You are more than a conqueror through Christ that strengthens You. (Romans 8:37)

Sir, we would like to meet Jesus.

“Sir, we would like to meet Jesus.”
“Some Greeks had gone to Jerusalem to worship during Passover. Philip from Bethsaida in Galilee was there too. So they went to him and said, “Sir, we would like to meet Jesus.” Philip told Andrew. Then the two of them went to Jesus and told him. Jesus said: The time has come for the Son of Man to be given his glory. I tell you for certain that a grain of wheat that falls on the ground will never be more than one grain unless it dies. But if it dies, it will produce lots of wheat. John 12:20-24 (CEV)
The Greeks then did not have direct access to the Jews.
However, they have heard about the Lord Jesus Christ.
They obviously have seen the life-changing impacts He has made.
Positively, they identified Philip as someone who could take them to Jesus.
Do people around you know you closely with Jesus?

Can people approach you to lead them to Jesus?
Can you really?

Philip told Andrew, and both of them went to Jesus.
After that, Jesus public announced that HE would, through the Cross, be available to all.
Now there is no barrier to all.
Jesus paid the Ultimate Ransome for the sin of all.
Can the seekers of Jesus find Him through you?
What do people know you as?
“As I was going through your city and looking at the things you worship, I found an altar with the words, “To an Unknown God.” You worship this God, but you don’t really know him. So I want to tell you about him.”
Acts 23:7 (CEV)
Paul came across people who did not know God.
He told them:
I want to tell you about him.
Can you do the same today?
Position yourself in a place you can lead others to the Savior.
