Made manifest in these last days for you.
“This was part of God’s plan, for he was chosen and destined for this before the foundation of the earth was laid, but he has been made manifest in these last days for you.” 1 Peter 1:20 (TPT)
He was made manifest “for you.”
This is a personal statement specifically addressed to You.
He came to set people free.
Free from what, you may ask?
Free from all things that bind, so that we may be free to serve Him fully.
“He has rescued us from the power of our enemies! This fulfills the sacred oath he made with our father, Abraham. Now we can boldly worship God with holy lives, living in purity as priests in his presence every day!”
Luke 1:70-75 (TPT)
In fact, if a person is not saved, they are bound more than they could ever imagine!
Peter says that those people who are outside of a personal relationship with Jesus are living empty lives.
In reality, they are wasting their energy and life.
All their planning, working, getting, giving, doing, hoping, and waiting will come to nothing!
The pursuit of popularity, comfort, pleasure, recreation, and satisfaction will fail.
The life lived without Jesus is a totally wasted life.
No matter what is accomplished or what is obtained as a person passes through this world, in the end, it all amounts to nothing, and they still end up in hell.
What a terrible way to live and die!
“For what use is it to gain all the wealth and power of this world, with everything it could offer you, at the cost of your own life? And what could be more valuable to you than your own soul?” Mark 8:36-37(TPT)
When you refuse God’s offer of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ, hell is your destination.
Hell is a place of pain, misery, torment, regret, memory, thirst, separation, loneliness, unending suffering, and terrible anguish.
Why did He go to Golgotha?
He went for you and for me.
He went so that we could be saved.
Every day I praise God that I have been born again, and I belong to Him.
What about You?
Will you repent of your sins and accept Christ as your Lord and Savior today?
