Jesus passionately determined
“Jesus passionately determined to leave for Jerusalem and let nothing distract him from fulfilling his mission there, for the time for him to be lifted up was drawing near. So he sent messengers ahead of him as envoys to a village of the Samaritans. But as they approached the village, they were turned away. They would not allow Jesus to enter, for he was on his way to worship in Jerusalem.”
Luke 9:51-53 (TPT)
Jesus passionately determined to leave for Jerusalem
He made up his mind to go to Jerusalem
He moved steadily, onward toward Jerusalem with an iron will.
How are you looking at your purposeful life?
Jesus knew and understood His purpose in life.
He made up his mind and passionately with resolved determination pursued it.
What are you passionate about in this life?
The Cross.
Yes, the Cross of Christ.
Does it permeate through what you are living for?
Are you here for your self or Him?
“On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old Cross where the Dearest and Best

For a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I’ll cherish the old rugged Cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged Cross,
And exchange it someday for a crown….”
George Bennard (1873-1958)
On the last day, will what you are pursuing so vigorously now count to the Cross?
