I will give thee a Crown

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” James 1:12 KJV

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10 KJV

Did you know that all true believers will receive a crown when they enter heaven?

Yes, this is not a fairy tale, this is a biblical truth.

It is important to remember this when we are in trouble when we have problems when we have difficulties in life when we are tempted.

This truth will give us hope and power to move on.

What kind of Crowns are they?

Well, the First Crown is the crown of life, as we can see in the above verses. This crown will be given to those who conquer the temptations and stay firm in their faith to the end of their earthly life.

The Crown of righteousness – this Crown will be received by those who are fighting the good fight, will finish the race and love His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7, 8)

The Imperishable Crown – will be received by those who lead others to Jesus. (see 1 Corinthians 9:25).

The Crown of glory – will be received by those who are shepherds of the flock of God. (see 1 Peter 5:2-4)

The Crown of gold – will be won by those who died as martyrs for their faith in Jesus Christ. (see Revelation 4:4)

Isn’t it amazing?

Remain faithful to the covenant You made with God.

You will Reign and Rule with Him.

You will receive His crown!

Be strong !!!
