Haven’t you ever read?

Have ye not read?
“But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are blameless?” Matthew 12:3-5 (KJV)
Jesus stood by His disciples to defend them from the accusations of the Pharisees who were against them
Ensure that what you do is properly rooted in the word of God because Jesus from the above used the scriptures of the examples of David and the Priests to back up what he allowed the disciples to do.
When God commands you to do something, please search the scriptures to have at least two or three scriptures to back them up.
“This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”  2 Corinthians 13:1  (KJV)
Also, understand the Holy Spirit purpose for that Word and not just the letter.
God’s Word, when obeyed as He commands, is to liberate man and not put the man in bondage as the Pharisees were insinuating.
“He alone makes us adequate ministers who are focused on an entirely new covenant. Our ministry is not based on the letter of the law but through the power of the Spirit. The letter of the law kills, but the Spirit pours out life.”
2 Corinthians 3:6  (TPT)
Where are you standing today?
With the Pharisees misjudging and misinforming?
With the Purposeful and Fulfilling insights that Jesus brings into issues?
Haven’t you ever read?
