 God tested and proved Abraham

“After these events, God tested and proved Abraham and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Here I am.  [God] said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I will tell you. .” (Genesis 22:1, 2) AMPC

From the life of Abraham, we can learn many good things for our lives today. You can walk with God and still not know the details of your destiny.

He accepted it by Faith. He obeyed God by Faith. (see Hebrews 11:8)

When God makes you a promise, the timeline is decided by Him.

Abraham received this promise from God that he will have a son, but only after about twenty years, God gave the promised son to Abraham. His name was Isaac. (see Genesis 12:2)

You might understand it all wrong before you’ll truly understand. Remember what happened?

Sarah proposed to Abraham to sleep with Hagar, this lead to Ishmael being born. They thought that they could help God to accomplish His promise.

You can have Faith in an area and still experience fear in another one. (see Genesis 20:2)

What test of Faith are you facing today?

The testimonies from the trials from the past are useful when you face the next challenge.

Remember David’s Testimonies of killing the lion and the bear were the stepping stones in killing Goliath. As you walk through it, and you are victorious, you can call God like Abraham did: “Abraham named that place “The LORD Provides.”And even today people say, “On the LORD’s mountain he provides.” (Genesis 22:14) (GNT)

Your Victorious Testimonies in overcoming today will be an encouragement to others. Draw upon His Grace to overcome your Tests of Faith today
