For thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

“For thou art, my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.” Psalm 31:3

Indeed, God holds you firm and secure, and because of that you rest assured of HIS ability to watch over you and protect you at all times.

However, we need to know that all the moves we make are genuinely for His name’s sake.

The Psalmist knew that it’s about honoring God and doing everything because of God that he is assured of God’s all-around protection.

Can you say the same about all the assignments that you are doing today that it’s right for HIM?

Did God approve all your plans and the processes you are taking in carrying them out?

Is it about God or you?

Be reminded today that it is when you are doing those things that God has sent you that you can confidently claim the promise guaranteeing your all-around protection.

“And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. ……” 2 Kings 10:16

Jehu at that point in his life was so sure he was carrying out God’s agenda.

Are all your actions (programs and activities) approved of God?

“You’re my cave to hide in, my cliff to climb. Be my safe leader, be my true mountain guide. Free me from hidden traps;  I want to hide in you. I’ve put my life in your hands. You won’t drop me. You’ll never let me down.” Psalm 31:3-5 (MSG)

HIS all-round protection is yours as long as you are doing what HE has assigned you to do.

Weakness and Fear made Peter Deny Jesus Christ.

“Meanwhile, as Simon Peter was standing by the fire, he was asked again, “Aren’t you one of his disciples?” “Of course not,” he replied.  But one of the household slaves of the High Priest—a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off—asked, “Didn’t...
