Don’t be afraid
“But the angel reassured him, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God is showing grace to you. For I have come to tell you that your prayer for a child has been answered. Your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son and you are to name him John.”
Luke 1:13 (TPT)
God is always in the business of answering prayers.
He never fails.
As we have seen from the lives of Zechariah and Elizabeth, their prayers were answered.
In the eyes of an ordinary man, they initially appeared childless.
However, God has his own destiny for them.
Their child had been chosen by God to be the forerunner of the Savior.
Where are you in the plan and purpose of God?
God is saying to you too today:
“Don’t be afraid,…! God is showing grace to you…”
“Do not be afraid, …; your prayer has been heard.”
“Don’t fear, …. Your prayer has been heard.”
“Don’t be afraid, …! I have come to tell you that God has heard your prayer,”
The challenge with Zechariah was unbelief.
He responded:
“What proof is there for this?”
Are you asking God for evidence before you can trust and believe too?
Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, simply trusted, believed, and happened as God promised.
2020 is the Year of Creations: Say it and See it
What type of situation are you creating with the words of your mouth?
Zechariah had to be made dumb from that time of encounter with God till John the Baptist was born.
“This is my promise to them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I put in your mouth will not leave you. They will be with your children and your grandchildren permanently,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 59:21 (GW)
Don’t be afraid.

He seized him by the throat
“No sooner had the servant left when he met one of his fellow servants, who owed him twenty thousand dollars He seized him by the throat and began to choke him, saying, ‘You’d better pay me right now everything you owe me!’ His fellow servant threw himself facedown at his feet and begged, ‘Please be patient with me. If you’ll just give me time, I will repay you all that is owed.’ But the one who had his debt forgiven stubbornly refused to forgive what was owed him. He had his fellow servant thrown into prison and demanded he remains there until he repaid the debt in full.” Matthew 18:28-30(TPT)
Look again at “The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant” Matthew 18:23-35.
Please read it over one more time and examine your life.
Is there someone you have seized by the throat?
Are you holding somebody in your mind, in your thoughts, and not forgiving?
You may not be holding the person physically in your hand, as illustrated in that parable.
However, the mere mention of that person’s name makes your heart beat faster?
The thoughts of what the person has done to you make you boil all over again?
How many times have you narrated the offense that person did to you to different people over the years?
Worse still, you have not even talked to the offender what the offense is?
Have you locked up the person in the prison of your mind?
Receive Grace today to release that person from the prison of your thoughts.
The more you hold that person with contempt in your heart, the more you have put yourself back into the prison of limitations.
Stop talking and narrating the incident over and over again.
As God has forgiven you so also forgive.
The consequence of UnForgiveness is in the following verses:
“The king summoned the man and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave your entire debt when you begged me for mercy. Shouldn’t you be compelled to be merciful to your fellow servant who asked for mercy?’ The king was furious and put the screws to the man until he paid back his entire debt. And that’s exactly what my Father in heaven is going to do to each one of you who doesn’t forgive unconditionally anyone who asks for mercy.” Matthew 18:23-35 (MSG)
Jesus forgave you all unconditionally.
“Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].” Mark 11:25 (AMP)
Forgive unconditionally and stop holding the person by the throat.

Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy.
“Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy; the revelation of your word thrills me like one who has discovered hidden treasure.” Psalm 119:162 (TPT)
What keeps you going in times like this?
It is the Word!
Not just the Word, the Revelations that comes from the written Word of God.
“I’ve been slandered unmercifully by the politicians, but my awe at your words keeps me stable. I’m ecstatic over what you say, like one who strikes it rich.”Psalm 119:161-162 (MSG)
“Rulers are cruel to me for no reason. But with all my heart, I respect your words, because they bring happiness like treasures taken in war.”
Psalm 119:161-162 (CEV)
Your survival is not with politicians nor rulers.
It depends entirely on the Word.
How is your spiritual life?
What are you feeding it with?
News, different tales, theories, and analysis from social media?
“A healthy spirit conquers adversity, but what can you do when the spirit is crushed?” Proverbs 18:14 (MSG)
“The will to live sustains you when you’re sick,[a] but depression crushes courage and leaves you unable to cope.” Proverbs 18:14 (TPT)
Be living proof of an overcoming believer.
Feed your spirit with the Word of God.
Your healthy spirit, will to live, and fulfill the whole purpose of God for your life is dependent on His Word that you know, say, and act on.
“The powerful elite have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart trembles in awe because of your miracle-words. Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy; the revelation of your Word thrills me like one who has discovered hidden treasure.” Psalm 119:161-162 (TPT)
Stay True.
Stay Focused.
Stay Standing.
Stay Dependent…on the WORD.

Today as we celebrate another Mother’s Day, we want to look at the Bathsheba’s in our midst.
Has circumstances of life made you be a Bathsheba?
Unless you see and understand the total picture of her life and purpose, don’t be quick to judge.
She did not seduce David with her open roof bath as some wrongly accused.
It was a Jewish tradition for cleansing for women, and indeed, she wasn’t the only one doing it on the rooftop in that age.
Neither was she part of the plot to kill Uriah, her first husband, who was part of David’s mighty men of war.
It was entirely David’s handiwork.
Have you found yourself in a marriage arrangement that was not your original desire?
Bathsheba soon discovered that she was not the only wife of David; there were others.
And she became pregnant through circumstances she never imagined.
Are you contending with others to get your husband’s attention?
Seven days after she gave birth to her first son, the baby died, which was a result of David’s sin.
God’s grace was upon her, and she had another son, Solomon, who eventually succeeded David.
As God turned the mess, Bathsheba found herself into a message God can turn things around for you too.
She purposefully pursued David’s promise that her son would become king, and he did.
Solomon’s right initial start-up by seeking God’s wisdom to rule can be attributed to her excellent parenting.
King Lemuel (Solomon) confirms this. (Proverbs31:1)
What’s the promise and purpose of God for your marriage, home, and children?
Don’t allow the stories around and about your motherhood to derail your purpose in life.
Her closeness to Nathan, the prophet, was an indication that despite her circumstances, she did not find offense in God.
God is never in evil, but His redemption plan is always available whenever satan had struck.
Do you feel lonely and distant among the people around you?
Do you have to reconcile two different men in your heart.?
It’s not easy to forget Uriah killed in the war.
Bathsheba was still expecting him back home till the news that he was no more.
How she must have felt keeping the secret of her affairs with the king from Uriah when he was recalled for a short period back home.
She possibly didn’t have a chance to tell him what really happened.
What turmoil must have gone in her heart?
Raging thoughts…
The Battle in her heart was possibly more than the war Israel was fighting.
Yet she had to comport herself before David and others in the palace.
Did she really find peace in all that went on around her and in her life.?
Which part of Bathsheba’s life is your story today. ..
The Prince of Peace is your portion.
Yes, Bathsheba turned everything over to God, and she pulled through.
She was honored and highly respected by her son. (1Kings 2:19)
She was listed along with the five women in the lineage line of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:6)
Your situation though different and challenging can be handled with Jesus in your life, giving you wisdom and direction.
Rise up today and line your self up with God’s empowerment.
If you are a mother and your story is different from Bathsheba, please look around you and comfort, encourage and strengthen one around you.
Happy Mothers Day.

“Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.” 1 TIMOTHY 2:8 (NIV)
Definitely all around the world, people are praying.
However, we need to pray to get results and not just pray as a religious activity.
Apostle Paul clearly defines how we should pray:
Lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
Are your hands Holy?
Are you angry either with yourself or another person?
Are you in dispute?
The enemy is smart at not preventing you from a praying activity but ensures that your heart is not right with your fellow human being not to talk about God.
How is your heart today as you pray?
“Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray—not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God. And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God, not primping before a mirror or chasing the latest fashions but doing something beautiful for God and becoming beautiful doing it.” 1 TIMOTHY 2:8 (MSG)
It is not the enemy you are praying to so don’t get angry with God.
Come before God with a pure and humble heart.
Pray today:
Free from sin and anger and resentment.
Without being angry or argumentative.
With clean hearts, free from frustration or strife.
“So I want men in every place to talk to God. They must have clean lives when they lift up their hands to talk to God. They must not be angry. They must have faith in God” 1 Timothy 2:8(WE)
Pray today the way God wants you to not the way you feel like doing it.

“ In that day, the Lord will remove the heavy burden from your shoulders and break off the yoke of bondage from your necks because of the heavy anointing upon you!” Isaiah 10:27 (TPT)
There is a very heavy anointing of God upon your life.
That Anointing is for such a time like this.
This power of God, first and foremost, is available for you to worship and serve God with Love and in true Holiness.
“He has rescued us from the power of our enemies! This fulfills the sacred oath he made with our father, Abraham. Now we can boldly worship God with holy lives, living in purity as priests in his presence every day!”
Luke 1:73-75 (TPT)
Next, this Grace of God enables you as a child of God to know the truth of God and decisively be in God’s agenda
It is clearly the end of times, and the devil is really advancing its agenda, causing confusion and putting people in severe bondage.
You must arise today and use this power and presence of God in your life to stop the advances of the enemy in the space God has given you to have dominion.
“But the wonderful Anointing you have received from God is so much greater than their deception and now lives in you. There’s no need for anyone to keep teaching you. His Anointing teaches you all that you need to know, for it will lead you into truth, not a counterfeit. So just as the Anointing has taught you, remain in him. 1 JOHN 2:27 (TPT)
Recognize the deceptive agenda of the enemy in this season, and don’t just be debating and arguing in the social media platforms you are in.
Stop the onslaught with the truth of God in your mouth and the Anointing you carry
Indeed, it’s not the time for frivolity.
“Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed him.”
Acts 10:38 TPT
Let the Jesus in you with the power of the Holy Spirit work and walk in your life today.
Yes, use the heavy Anointing of God upon your life to advance His Kingdom.
