We have all of these great witnesses who encircle us.

We have all of these great witnesses who encircle us.

“As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us” Hebrews 12:1(TPT)

How are you running the Faith Race this morning?

We must remember that we are not alone.

Others have gone ahead of us

Many many are still coming behind us

You occupy a unique position in this marathon race.

You must hand over that baton of Faith given to you successfully.

As you run this race, where is your focus?

Remember this Hymn:

“My Faith looks up to thee

 Thou Lamb of Calvary

 Savior divine!

Now hear me while I pray

 Take all my guilt away

O let me from this day

Be wholly thine!” (Ray Palmer -1830)

Where is your Faith looking up to today?

“We look away from the natural realm, and we focus our attention and expectation  onto Jesus who birthed Faith within us and who leads us forward into Faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!” Hebrews 12:2(TPT)

Keep Your Eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ:

In all times.

In all situations

In all circumstances.

HE will see you through.

You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me!

You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me!
“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!” Psalm 138:8 (TPT)

God always keeps His promise.

He does not let you down.
He is not too busy to attend to your matter.
He is still working with you.
Whatever HE has promised you based on His word will come to pass.
“God is no mere human! He doesn’t tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises.” Numbers 23:19(GW)

Where are you today in your journey in life?
What is outstanding in the vision He has given you?
Keep your focus on Him.
He will come true for you.
Remain Faithful.
Keep Praising Him.

Let your confession line up with His Word for you.
“I pray with great faith for you because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!”
Philippians 1:6 (TPT)
His Mercies and Love are new and available for you each day. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Don’t despair because those who don’t know God seem to be getting ahead.
David at a time thought so too.

However, he quickly understood better, hear him:
“Don’t follow after the wicked ones or be jealous of their wealth. Don’t think for a moment they’re better off than you. They and their short-lived success will soon shrivel up and quickly fade away, like grass clippings in the hot sun.” Psalm 37:1-2(TPT)

Again remember this :
“All who do evil are shameless, but the Lord does right and is always fair.
With the dawn of each day, God brings about justice.”
Zephaniah 3:5(CEV)
It’s another beautiful day.
God has never failed.
Indeed, He will not fail you.

Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others

Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others

“Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and you will not be judged. For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you” Matthew 7:1-2(TPT)
Simply put:
Do not judge others.
“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office.” Rom. 12:4. (KJV).

Everybody is not the same.

Everybody cannot do the same thing.
That is good. Just think if everybody could just do the same things the same way.
Except for being boring, how little would be done?
The problem is you may expect another person to do what you can, and just as good as you.
This sometimes creates friction.
What do you say to your friend when he could not do what you expected of him?
What did you do when he expected something from you?
Why do you judge others if you cannot do what they can?

Have Empathy towards others.
Put yourself in their shoes before you “condemn” the action they took
Don’t just say, “they should have known better.’
What can you do to make them a better person?
Do not judge.
Find Grace from God.
Before you lash out at that person:
Ask again from the Holy Spirit if that is what you should say?…

Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.

Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.

“Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight—” Psalm 144:1(KJV)
David realized that it’s God alone that not only gives you an idea but also the step-by-step process of how to fulfill it.
He has waged many wars, but he was utterly dependent on God to show him how to get the total and complete victory through all those battles.
He trusted God in the battle against Goliath, but he followed God in using his hands and fingers in handling the sling and picking up the five stones.

His fingers’ dexterity to accurately locate the right place in Goliath’s forehead was entirely dependent on God.
What ideas do you have from God?
Entirely depend on HIM to show you the way to fully implement them.
“Blessed be God, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well. He’s the bedrock on which I stand, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight, The high crag where I run for dear life, while he lays my enemies low.” Psalm 144:1(MSG)

Don’t start your project with God and then implement them with your own senses.

God gives you the complete package of strategy and implementation.
Shall I bring to the [moment of] birth and not cause to bring forth? Says the Lord. Shall I Who causes to bring forth shut the womb? says your God. Isaiah 66:9(KJV)
When God gives you the grace to conceive an idea, depend on HIM to bring it to birth and give it life for complete fulfillment.
Where are you trusting today?

It is entirely up to God to show Mercy.

It is entirely up to God to show Mercy.

“He had every right to say to Moses: “I will be merciful to whomever I choose, and I will show compassion to whomever I wish.” Again, this proves that God’s choice doesn’t depend on how badly someone wants it or tries to earn it, but it depends on God’s Kindness and Mercy. For just as God said to Pharaoh: “I raised you up as ruler of Egypt for this reason, that I might make you an example of how I demonstrate my miracle power. For by the example of how I deal with you, my powerful name will be a message proclaimed throughout the earth!” So again, we see that it is entirely up to God to show Mercy or to harden the hearts of whomever he chooses.” Romans 9:15-18(TPT).

Be careful not to sit t at the “judgment seat,” dishing out your verdicts.
Some matters are entirely up to God.
Therefore, don’t always have that “entitlement attitude” to God.

You must always factor in God’s Mercy and Grace.

God’s kindness and Grace must be recognized in every achievement of yours.
You are not that superstar all by yourself.
God’s Grace made it possible.

“I will worship you, Yahweh, with extended hands as my whole heart erupts with praise! I will tell everyone everywhere about your wonderful works!” Psalm9:1 (TPT)
Remember, because you have received Mercy, you too can show Mercy.
When you genuinely pray for others, God’s Mercy is extended to them.
“When others are disgraced, God will clear their names in answer to your prayers. Even those who are guilty will be forgiven because you obey God” Job 22:29-30(CEV)
“Thank You, Lord

For all, You’ve given to me.
For all the blessings, I cannot see
Thank You Lord
Thank You Lord
With a grateful heart
With a song of praise
With an outstretched arm
I will bless Your name…” Don Moen

The people who hear and understand the message

The people who hear and understand the message

“The seeds that fell on good ground are the people who hear and understand the message. They produce as much as a hundred or sixty or thirty times what was planted.” Matthew 13:23(CEV)

Do you want results from the Word of God that you hear and read?
You must have an understanding of it.
Who hears and understands the Word, who bears fruit.
The person who hears and understands the Word.
This type produces crops.
The one who hears and fully embraces the message of the kingdom.
Their lives bear good fruit.

You remember the Ethiopian Eunuch:
“The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go and walk alongside the chariot.” So Philip ran to catch up. As he drew closer, he overheard the man reading from the scroll of Isaiah the prophet. Philip asked him, “Sir, do you understand what you’re reading?” The man answered, “How can I possibly make sense of this without someone explaining it to me?” So he invited Philip up into his chariot to sit with him.” Acts 8:29-31(TPT)
After he understood, he was immediately baptized.

Understanding always produces Acton and Results.

The Jailer too:
“And the Jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear; he fell down before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Acts 16:29-30(ESV)
He carried out the instructions Paul gave him, and the results were noticeable.
What is the effect of the Word in your life?
“For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise, and we experience the realm of confident rest! For he has said…” Hebrews 4:2-3(TPT)
What are you doing with the Word?
