Only One Mediator
Only one Mediator
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 (AMPC)
Be reminded today that it is the man Christ Jesus that reconciled you back to God.
He alone willingly surrendered His life and died the shameful and painful death on the Cross to guarantee your salvation.
Let this truth sink in further today that nobody else did or could do that. Hence there is no reason why any other mortal person should cause you to forsake the way of the truth.
“Pastor you don’t know what that man did to me I won’t step into any church again” I hear you loud and clear, it is not that man that saved you and paid the Ransome for your soul. There is only one mediator Christ Jesus.
“You don’t know what these so-called people did to me, I won’t ever be a Christian again “ Understand its not those group that took away all your sins. Only one mediator did.
“The blood in the family is thicker than water, yet this so-called family that virtually sleep in the church and carry Bible all around did this to me “ Again don’t be “mad” at God because of their utterances and actions, no family however strong and bounded they are paid the ultimate price for your life. Only one mediator did.
God made the covenant of your salvation with only one mediator Christ Jesus.
Therefore no matter the set back you could have encountered with your faith based on what any other human being could have done to you, please be reconciled back to God today because it is only one mediator.
“He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned: that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually, the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth.” 1 Timothy 2:5-7 (MSG)
“For God is one, and there is one Mediator between God and the sons of men—the true man, Jesus, the Anointed One.” 1 Timothy 2:5 (TPT)
Only One Mediator
What Has Been Written
“This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.” (John 19:20-22KJV)
When Pilate was asked to rewrite what he had written on the cross about Jesus he refused and defiantly stated that it is irreversible.
Do you know what God has purposed about you cannot be canceled?
He told Jeremiah that he knew him before he was formed in his Mother’s womb and subsequently guided Jeremiah to fulfill his purpose in life. God who is the Alpha and Omega had written down your purposeful life even before you were born.
Know today that the enemy cannot rewrite your life no matter what you are going through. Stay faithful it’s all going to add up.
Yes, Joseph started with his dreams, and as events unfolded, it appeared his life has been rewritten but God who says HE has stretched out His hand of purpose on Joseph undoubtedly fulfilled his dreams.
No matter what story your life is telling now know that the purpose of God will triumph in your life. Stay true to your mission in life.
Jesus Christ the same Yesterday Today and Forever will surely bring it to pass. Don’t give up on yourself. His thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace to bring you to your expected end.
Don’t say negative things about yourself and what God has written about you cannot be rewritten.
What did Ruth see that Naomi did not initially see?
What did Ruth see that Naomi did not initially see?
” And Naomi said, See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.
And Ruth said, Urge me not to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God.” Ruth 1:15-6.
Naomi, Ruth’s mother in law, had seen so much of tragedies and failures that made her put limitations of what God can do and had resolved to just fold her hands in an all hope is lost attitude.
Ruth had inner convictions while Naomi was looking at the facts of life what we sometimes call the empirical evidence.
Apparently, Naomi had knowledge of Yahweh that she and her late husband shared with their two sons from where Ruth as a wife to one of the sons had a purposeful encounter with the God of destiny.
Ruth in verse above positively confessed that Naomi’s people shall be her people and she knew inside of her that her journey to the purposeful fulfillment of her life destiny was in following Naomi to connect with her people.
She did not allow the incidents of the death of her father-in-law, her husband, and his brother to shake her off her God-given destiny.
How are we today allowing one or two incidents to derail our God-given destiny?
One experience of disappointment had made some people walk out of marriage, business and personal relationships. Yet precisely at the beginning, you know what God has explicitly told you about the relationship.
We do easily find offense with the church, pastor or ministry where God has specifically assigned us to blossom and be fulfilled.
It could even be an idea that heaven has revealed to us that will prosper us but two or three disappointments have made us abandon that dream.
To some, it might be the failure of an examination, and you had given up on the career and profession altogether.
Today I want to remind you of the inner conviction of Ruth that made her stay true and because she believed, confessed and acted on her purpose, her life today is linked with the lineage of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Many Christians today wrongly wholly depend on the social media to form opinions and take crucial life decisions that should be bible based.
Are you one of them?
Let God be your guide, search the scriptures and spend time in prayers.
Be like Ruth and stay true to your destiny and do not limit yourself to the current circumstances of life like Naomi initially did.
Declaring
Declaring …the things that are not yet done
“Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose, Calling a ravenous bird from the east—the man [Cyrus] who executes My counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed it, and I will do it.” Isaiah 46:10 -11
Recently, during the morning hours in an office, someone was going around the office to remind workers about an afternoon training session that will be coming up later that day, and one of them responded that “I already attended the training this afternoon.”
Those who heard it started laughing and wondering what kind of statement was that?
Saying you already attended training that is yet to happen ?.
God is always declaring things that will happen beforehand, saying it openly before they happen.
That’s what makes Him God.
He also wants us with faith in Him to declare to our situations, promises and whatever we believe him to consider it as done and openly say so.
That is exercising our faith.
It may sound ridiculous to our hearers and us just like the person who said she has attended a class that is yet to take place.
We are more comfortable with describing things as it is.
However, faith in God requires us speaking it out loud before it happens.
Remember the fig tree Jesus talked to in Mark 11:23-24.
David told Goliath he was a dead man even before flinging his sting.
Believe God that what you have spoken will surely come to pass.
It may be your Health, finances and other issues of life.
The God we serve declares things before it happens and they inevitably come to pass.
You to do the same.
Make your declaration based on the Word and you will plainly see them happen as God promised.
