As The Countdown to 2023 begins …
2022, The Year Of Walking With A Covenant Keeping God. Experiencing Supernatural Expansion By Divine Intervention.
“‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.” Leviticus 26:9-11(NIV)
The Year 2022 started with a rollover or carryover of the effects and controversies of Covid 19. It challenged people’s Faith. Some debated all that is debatable. However, the Covenant Keeping God that we walk with kept His promise of removing the sickness from the midst of His children.
“And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” Exodus 23:25b-26 NKJV
As we approach the year 2023, The Covenant keeping God can keep you beyond 2023 for as long as you hold on to Him and keep His covenant.
The combination of social and economic challenges put many families under pressure. Still, those walking with him continued to experience His Peace in their homes despite the turmoil.
Yes, the times are challenging.
Charles Dickens, In a tale of two cities, said, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”
To some who walked with the covenant Keeping God, it was Goshen.
Always early enough to decamp from where darkness is prevailing.
Jesus can fix any situation you think has gone wrong.
Please give Him a chance in your life.
As we look into 2023, we know it will be a year of Advancements.
2023 is the Year of Advancements through obedience.
“The Master, God, has given me a well-taught tongue, So I know how to encourage tired people. He wakes me up in the morning, Wakes me up, opens my ears to listen as one ready to take orders.” Isaiah 50:4(MSG)
Listen to the instructions HE gives you as we approach the new year.

We have seen his star.
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod, the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” (Matthew 2:1-2) KJV
The Christmas story is incomplete without the story of the three wise men who came to worship the Savior when HE was still a baby.
Real wise men and wise women today still seek Jesus.
They did not just stumble on the baby Jesus.
They saw the star and followed for over 800 miles to get to the exact place.
To be wise like these men, we must follow the Holy Spirit.
He knows and sees all things.
He will lead us not just to our destination but also actually to fulfill our God-Given Destiny.
Daily Follow the instructions God is giving you.
Sometimes we do make mistakes in following “correct protocol,” as the wise men did by taking their eyes off the star and asking Herod, who had no solution to their problem but only added persecution.
The wise men quickly regained their bearing by looking up to the star that eventually led them to the Savior. Repent and refocus your attention on the Holy Spirit today to guide you to your destiny rather than being trapped by the Herods you are seeking directions.
Wise men are lovers of God; hence they willingly, voluntarily, and cheerfully gave their gifts.
When you are in a loving relationship with God, there is neither controversy nor debate about your giving to God because it comes from your heart and not as a show to man.
“Thank God!.
Call out his Name!.
Tell the whole world who He is.
What he’s done!
Sing to Him!
Play songs for him!
Broadcast all his wonders!
Revel in his holy Name.
God-seekers, be jubilant! Study God and his strength, seek his presence day and night; Remember all the wonders he performed, the miracles and judgments that came out of his mouth…” (1 Chronicles 16:8-11) MSG
Being wise is to seek Jesus continually.
Wise men and Wise women, too:
Still, search and find Him.
Jesus was unstoppable.
Your God Given Star will shine.
You, too, will have fulfillment.

Obedience is the Key That Opened up Christmas.
“When Joseph awoke from his dream, he did all that the angel of the Lord instructed him to do. He took Mary to be his wife.”
Matthew 1:24 (TPT)
Do you know that we couldn’t celebrate Christmas without Obedience?
Sin entered into the world through a woman’s disobedience to God’s command.
Through an obedient woman came Salvation into the world.
Without Obedience, there would be no Christmas, Christianity, or Salvation.
Christmas is the celebration of Obedience.
The most valuable virtue before God is Obedience.
“Then Samuel said, “Is the Lord as delighted with burnt offerings and sacrifices as he would be with your Obedience? To follow instructions is better than to sacrifice. To obey is better than sacrificing the fat of rams. The sin of black magic is rebellion. Wickedness and idolatry are arrogance. Because you rejected the Lord’s word, he rejects you as king.”
(1Samuel 15:22, 23 GW)
Follow His Instructions.!
Don’t just live to please people.!!
For Christmas to take place, Jesus needed to be obedient to the Father ( John 17:18)
The angels had to be obedient to God (Luke 1:26)
Joseph and Mary had to obey God by doing what they had heard from the angels. (Luke1:38)
Obedience to God will produce Salvation in your life.
To receive Grace means to receive Jesus in your heart:
In your being, precisely like Mary did.
Salvation means to receive Jesus in your heart and allow Him to abide.
Jesus will lead your life and be in control of your mind and your feelings.
You follow Him.
You love Him.
You submit to Him.
“Just as the Lord’s angel had told him to do.”
Are You doing ALL that God has told you?
Live in Obedience to Him!

Glorify God.
“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” Isaiah 6:3(KJV).
Give honor to God.
Praise Him and glorify Him.
He made heaven and earth.
He also made you!
In creating you:
He allowed you to be with Him forever.
He called you by your name.
You are a child of God.
Be thankful and make use of His grace.
Let others see you are His child.
Especially when you are with your friends.
You are not just anybody.
Let your actions prove who you are.
Glorify God in all that you do.
Application to the Christian life:
Honour God in all your actions.
Live according to God’s will.
Praise Him and follow Jesus.

As White As Snow.
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18(KJV).
How bad are your sins?
Scarlet and red as crimson are extreme descriptions.
No matter what you have done.
God is prepared to forgive you.
Jesus gave His life for us.
His life was not cheap price.
Jesus is the Son of God.
His life is worth more than anything on earth can be.
You need His forgiveness to be reconciled to Him.
Jesus gave certain conditions for your sins to be forgiven.
Your sins will only be forgiven if you fulfill the requirements.
Acknowledge what you have done.
Resolve in your heart; you won’t continue in them.
Invite Him into your life to henceforth direct you.
Obey God, submit your life to Him.
Follow Jesus and do as he instructs you to do.
Repent and sin no more.
He will give you the grace to overcome.
The forgiveness of sins is profound.
Believe the Word of God.
Live your life as a Kingdom Citizen.
Be an example to your friends.
Though they may laugh at you.
Resolve to live a sin-free life.
The Holy Spirit will help you daily.
Application to the Christian life:
Be worthy of the forgiveness of sins.
Submit yourself completely to God with a pure heart. Listen to Jesus and follow Him with an upright heart.

Be Obedient to God
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 2:19(KJV).
God gave a promise to the Israelites.
If they obey Him, He will bless them.
God gave God the same promise every time He spoke to His people.
Obedience to God brings miracles.
He has a bigger and better plan for you.
History shows that God blessed His people when they obeyed and punished them when they disobeyed.
The promise today is still the same.
When we obey and honor God, He blesses us.
God sent Jesus to give you and me another chance.
We are in a period of Grace.
A time where we are forgiven when we make a mistake.
A time we receive another chance to try again.
Don’t take this period of Grace for granted.
Genuine repentance from your mistake is required of you.
Reliance on the Holy Spirit enables you to choose right.
Application to the Christian life:
Choose to make use of God’s love and mercy.
Keep on trying.
Resist sin.
