By Faith Moses… By Faith I…

“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.” (Hebrews 11:24-26) (KJV)

Every day we have to make choices.

Usually, our choices are according to our wishes and aspirations. In Hebrews chapter 11 a lot of people made some choices. They were directed by their faith in making their decisions.

For example, Moses’ parents had to choose. Between what? Well, they had to choose between their lives and their child’s life. They chose to risk their lives to save their son’s life.

Moses had to choose. He chose `rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.` At the age of 40, Moses was face to face with two different nations with two different destinies: the Egyptians and the Jews, with two different perspectives: the glory of Egypt, or the disgrace for Jesus. What would Moses choose?

Well, we know the answer to this question, right? Moses chose to suffer from the people of God. Weird, isn’t it?!? After the world’s values, that’s an insane man! Why did he choose that? We instead like to say that if Moses would stay in the Pharaoh’s house, he might put the right word for the Jews.

The things cannot be mixed. They are `or, or.` You have to choose every day if you’re going to live for God’s glory or for the passing pleasures of sin.

If You were Moses what choice would you have made?

 What would you choose?

What choices are You making?

Faith or by what you think is correct

The reasoning is sound but choices made by Faith are Destiny Impactful.

By Faith …What is being written against Your Name?

By Faith, what are you choosing in line with Your God-Given Destiny?
