For God is love
“The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love.”
1 John 4:8(TPT)
“Father, I ask that you allow everyone that you have given to me to be with me where I am! Then they will see my full glory— the very splendor you have placed upon me because You have loved me even before the beginning of time.” John 17:24 (TPT)
Today again, the world marks another Valentine’s Day, which is merely a human love story.
However, before the foundations of the earth, God chose to first love you and me.
This genuine and uncompromising love is what made Him send His only begotten Son to rescue humanity
It’s quite ironic that the church has been forced to follow the world in celebrating love when the real original undiluted LOVE is actually with her.
God Is Love.
Whosoever claims to be a believer in God must not only love unconditionally but also let that agape love be a sweet aroma that continually preaches the kingdom of God through the lifestyle of the disciple.
How do you love today?
Is the genuine agape love of God showing forth in all areas of your life?
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
1John 4:8 (KJV)
As you see around you today, the world’s version of love, you should resolve to let the pure love of God in your heart manifest to your neighbor and all that come in contact with you daily.
You and I have the unique opportunity to show the world that the pure love of God is really in our lives as we manifest it all areas of our assignments in life.
Enough of the church following the world to get attention to be a witness.
As the church rises to its exact responsibilities of dominating our God-given platform, people will begin to see that love is not on valentine’s day. Equally, Christmas is every day with the believer because Christ is celebrated daily in our lives.
“The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!”
Romans 8:19 (TPT)
It’s not the Hollywood and the selfish economic profiteers that should dictate how to show forth the Glory of God in our lives. They don’t know it because they do not have it.
They can’t give agape that they do not have.
It is the believer that has been purchased by the precious blood of the lamb that must occupy and manifest the true Glory of God.
As you see around you, the world’s compromised version of love, be a real child of God to let your life showcase that true love HE has for You and me before the foundation of the world.
Long before the human version of love happened, the creator has loved and extended HIS LOVE to humankind before the foundations of the world.
“……You have loved me even before the beginning of time.”

These works which the Father destined for me to complete
“But I can provide a more substantial proof of who I am that exceeds John’s testimony—my miracles! These works which the Father destined for me to complete—they prove that the Father has sent me!” John 5:36 (TPT)
- I mean, the things that the Father has given me to do!
- For the works that the Father has given me to finish
- It’s the work the Father gave me to complete
- The Father gave me these works to accomplish
What are you doing?
What’s your life purpose all about?
It is essential that what you engage in this life are the very things your Father in heaven has assigned you to do.
Don’t just do things because you see others do them.
Seek God’s face to know exactly what He wants you to do.
“You will find true success when you find me, for I have insight into wise plans that are designed just for you. I hold in my hands living-understanding,[a] courage, and strength.”
Proverbs 8:14 (TPT)
God knew who you were before you were born. ( Jeremiah 1:5)
Our Lord Jesus Christ also confirmed that He only did what the Father assigned for Him to do.
“Nothing I do is from my own initiative, ……because I can do nothing on my own, except to fulfill the desires of my Father who sent me.” John 5:30 (TPT)
What are you doing today?
The work you chose for yourself or that which God gave you to do?

Sowing and Reaping.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
“Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest.”
Galatians 6:7 (TPT)
Everyone knows that a man reaps what he sows.
If a man sows cucumber, he will get a cucumber and nothing else.
If he sows carrots, he will get carrots and nothing else.
The truth is this: A man reaps what he sows.
“Do not be deceived. God is not mocked.”
Don’t forget that the law of sowing and reaping applies to everything we do in life, and not only in the gardens and the fields.
In this your purposeful life, what have you been sowing?
“Sow a thought, and you reap an action; sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character; sow a character, and you reap a destiny.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
What are you sowing?

Miriam and Aaron started complaining… The Lord heard their complaint
“Although Moses was the most humble person in all the world, Miriam and Aaron started complaining, “Moses had no right to marry that woman from Ethiopia! Who does he think he is? The Lord has spoken to us, not just to him.” The Lord heard their complaint “Numbers 12:1-3 (CEV)
What do you do when the closest people to you complain about you?
How do you react when it is your closest confidant that murmurs about you?
Moses left everything for God to vindicate him.
How are you handling the betrayal of people close to you?
Remember, Miriam and Aaron were one family with Moses.
Both of them were used by the Lord to support his calling.
When it is family, it hurts the more.
Don’t be offended.
Turn it over to the Lord.
“So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Matthew 13:57
David also had a similar experience:
My enemies are not the ones who sneer and make fun. I could put up with that or even hide from them. But it was my closest friend, the one I trusted most. We enjoyed being together, and we went with others to your house, our God.” Psalm 55:12-14
God also came through for David.
“Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the journey after you left Egypt.” (Deut. 24:9)
Let God avenge you.
“Beloved, don’t be obsessed with taking revenge but leave that to God’s righteous justice. For the Scriptures say: “If you don’t take justice in your own hands, I will release justice for you,” says the Lord” Romans 12:19
The Lord heard their complaint.

“Stay at Jericho until your beards grow, and then return.
“…the princes of the Ammonites said to Hanun, their lord, “Do you think that David is honoring your father because he has sent consolers to you? Has David not sent his servants to you in order to search the city, to spy it out and overthrow it?” So Hanun took David’s servants and shaved off half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle as far as their hips, and sent them away. When they told it to David, he sent to meet them, for the men were greatly humiliated. And the king said, “Stay at Jericho until your beards grow, and then return.” …2 Samuel 10, 3-5
Have you been sent on an assignment like David’s noblemen but did not anticipate the disgrace you will receive in the course of their duties.
There are people that at the initial stage of their assignments, embraced the king’s instructions with all their hearts and got hurt or disgraced while they were on their mission.
Many people met unanticipated challenges in their life journeys and had their dreams shattered by unexpected results. As David responded to the men and kept them in a place until their beards grew back again God is saying to someone that I know you, I know what happened, you may be in a hiding place now, but it’s a place where your character will be perfected, and God will vindicate and restore your honor.
Just like Joseph went through so many unanticipated challenges to realize his dreams, today, I encourage you to hold on to your goals, and at the end of the day, you also will be a fulfilled person.
I remember the story about the old man who was asked what his favorite bible passage was, and he quoted, “It shall come to pass,” and when asked why he said there had been many troubles he had lived to see.
Still, one by one, they got solved because God has said this challenge is not forever; it will surely come to an end that it will glorify HIM.
This phrase “It shall come to pass” occurred about 120 times in the King James Version Bible.
HE will never leave you nor forsake you.
You may say I got burnt by my bad choices it was not so much of the enemies’ ambushes but the bad decisions I made.
Like the prodigal son, determine in your heart to turn away from sin, and true repentance means knowing the way devil got you down in the first place and resolve never to fall for that sin again no matter how he improved, revised and redesign the sin.
Put structures that will not make you fall again.
HE took Peter back after he betrayed HIM.
HE will take you back if you like Peter genuinely repent and turn away.
This challenging and waiting phase of your life will surely come to pass.
