True Ministry
“True spirituality. “True ministry.” that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values.”
James 1: 27(TPT)
In this season of thanksgiving and expectations for the New Year 2022
We should live out the True Ministry.
It is time to make an impactful difference in the lives of orphans and widows.
The Greek word “orhpanos” means “the fatherless” or “the comfortless.”
Reach out to the fatherless.
Those who don’t know God as their Father.
Let God use you to bring them into the kingdom.
They need to know Him and be able to say “Abba Father.”
Give Comfort to the comfortless.
In the challenges you have gone through and overcome.
Comfort others with the Comfort you have been comforted with.
Provide Solutions to the widows in their troubles.
Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight.
Really the loveless?
Yes, with patience and wisdom.
Reach out to them.
They are within and outside !!!
Do this without being corrupted by the world’s values.
Faithful ministry is doing all these and more without all the cameras.
Give and care without being arrogant.
The world system wants everyone to know what they have done.
You are giving on to the Lord.
“Every time you give to the poor, you make a loan to the Lord. Don’t worry—you’ll be repaid in full for all the good you’ve done.” Proverbs 19:17(TPT)
Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in all that you do.
The Blessings will surely come back to you.
All the Glory will continue to be to the Lord.
Again, it’s not only money.
Whatsoever resources you have at your disposal.
Let someone see and know God through you.

Cleanse your hands… Purify your hearts
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:7-8(KJV)
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
Wash your hands, you sinners, and let your hearts be filled with God alone to make them pure and true to him.
Clean up your lives, you sinners, and clear your minds, you doubters
Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].
Double Jeopardy!!!
Your hands and Your Heart
Which controls what?
Your hands direct your heart.
Or.
Your heart dictates to your hands.
Sinner and Doubter?
Are you both?
The Sinner to wash their hands
The doubter to remain focused on God.
Without Holiness, you can not see God.
“In every relationship be swift to choose peace over competition, and run swiftly toward holiness, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14(TPT)
Only those who say it and don’t doubt get results.
“Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done.” Mark 11:23 (TPT)
Are you very quick to do with your hands what your heart directs?
Great.
Live a pure life.
Believe what God says in your heart.
You will continuously experience His Blessings.
The enemy will flee from you.
That’s one sure way of submitting yourself to God.
Who are you pledging allegiance to?
It’s a function of what you do with your hands and your heart.

Go to the Promised land.
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it. “
Exodus: 33:1(KJV).
God commanded Moses to depart from where he was.
God also commanded Moses to take the people with him.
God also gave the destiny:
The promised land.
Destiny…
Destination…
Do You Know your God-Given Destiny?
God also gives us the command to depart from our sinful life.
He commands us to take our families and friends with us.
He promised us a place in His Kingdom as the destination.
Are you willing to depart from sin?
Prepared to tell others about the promise of God?
Encouraging them to come with you?
Application to the Christian life:
Take up your cross.

“And, ye fathers, provoke not you children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4. (KJV).

Did your parents tell you to study?
Why did you study?
You wanted a promising career.
You wanted to be successful.

Allow God to Bless You.
“That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take anything that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.” Gen. 14:23 (KJV).
Do you sometimes take something from a friend?
Do you envy your friend for having something?
Does it happen that you leave a shop or office with a pen after signing a document by accident?
Do you borrow something from someone with no intention to return it?
Abram had the opportunity to receive valuable goods.
He would have been richer at that instant.
He resisted the opportunity.
Why did he not take anything that was offered to him?
Abram trusted God.
He did not want anybody to have a hold over him.
Someone who could later say he helped Abram.
That person could demand Abram to repay the favor.
“You owe me one.”
Nobody could say that to Abraham.
Can You say that about yourself?
Is there someone who can pull the strings of your life?
Depend entirely on God.
Application to the Christian life:
Trust God to help you.
Do not allow yourself to be in debt of anyone else.
Resist the temptation to sin.
Let God always be your source.
