Be Obedient to God

Be Obedient to God
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 2:19(KJV).
God gave a promise to the Israelites.
If they obey Him, He will bless them.
God gave God the same promise every time He spoke to His people.
Obedience to God brings miracles.
He has a bigger and better plan for you.
History shows that God blessed His people when they obeyed and punished them when they disobeyed.
The promise today is still the same.
When we obey and honor God, He blesses us.
God sent Jesus to give you and me another chance.
We are in a period of Grace.
A time where we are forgiven when we make a mistake.
A time we receive another chance to try again.
Don’t take this period of Grace for granted.
Genuine repentance from your mistake is required of you.
Reliance on the Holy Spirit enables you to choose right.
Application to the Christian life:
Choose to make use of God’s love and mercy.
Keep on trying.
Resist sin.

So many enemies?

So many enemies?
“O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!”
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.”
Psalm 3:1-3(NLT)
David had so many enemies in his life.
Do you?
What challenges are you going through?
David was even told point blank:
“God won’t help you.”
Is anyone telling you that, too, today?
Saying your case is beyond redemption?
However, his experience was different.
God came through for him.
Do you have friends asking you:
Are you the only One?
David went through many difficult times in his life.
Times he had to flee for his life.
Times when even his own son attempted to kill him.
David remained faithful to God.
He kept on serving God with a whole heart.
He was not a perfect man.
God had to send the prophet to David:
Telling him how much he sinned against God.
He repented.
David encouraged himself.
He did not listen to those telling him God would not help him.
He was described as a man after God’s own heart.
(1 Sam. 13:14)
David was a beloved of God.
Jesus Loves You too.
Your situation is not complicated, that HE can not solve.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,” Luke 4:18(NLT)
No matter how many enemies surround you.
David testified.
“He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me.”
Psalm 18:17(NLT)
God can deliver you.
Application to the Christian life:
Repent and submit to God.
Resist poor advice.
Follow God’s own heart too.

Do you envy?

Do you envy?
“Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.” Proverbs 23:17(KJV).
Do you envy your friends for being more fortunate than you?
Are you envious?
Of Who?
Other people?
More Successful people?
Famous People?
Sometimes you wish you were them?
Are they happier than you?
Are their lives easier than yours?
Want to know why your life is so difficult?
You are serving God.
You try hard to do the things God expects of you.
Did God forget about you?
Sometimes You pray:
It appears God does not hear.
Put Your Focus back on God.
Allow the Holy Spirit to daily lead you.
God has a particular purpose for you.
Understand and follow God.
Yours is a unique life.
In Him, you have an abundance of life.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Remain faithful.
It will surely turn out well.
“For surely there is an end; thine expectations shall not be cut off. Hear thou my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.” (Proverbs 23:18-19).
With God, You can not lose out.
Application to the Christian life:

What is Your Name?

What is Your Name?
“What is your name?” the man asked. He replied, “Jacob.”
“Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on, you will be called Israel because you have fought with God and with men and have won.” “Please tell me your name,” Jacob said. “Why do you want to know my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.” Genesis 32:27-29 (NLT)
Again, what is your name?
What name does God know you?
What name are you known with men?
This was a remarkable encounter with God.
The True identity of Jacob as known by God and men was revealed.
Jacob changed and chose to be known by what God called him.
What are you called?
A name you gave yourself.?
You have your publicity team project you with a name.
Is that what God knows you as?
You can package yourself to mankind in so many ways.
However, the truth is, what is your name before God?
“you have fought with God and with men and have won.”
Are all your concerns with what men call you?
God has a purpose, a plan, and a name for you.
How have you started going about it?
Like Jacob Did initially.
Deceitfulness.
Manipulations.
Men-pleaser.
Chose today to align with what God has called you to be.
Go to the place of prayers.
Prevail in prayers.
Bear the name God has purposed for you.
Not a name you invented or what men as given you.
One more time:
What Is Your Name?

The Way Of The Lord.

The Way Of The Lord.
“Man’s goings are of the Lord; how can a man then understand his own way.” Proverbs 20:24.(KJV).
Do You understand your own way?
Do You really understand yourself?
It is good to have plans.
We all plan our future.
We make decisions to become prosperous.
We save for a pension.
Have you already decided on your career?
You chose where to reside.
What about the choice of who to marry?

Involve God in all your desires.
God has a purpose for you.
He called you by your name.
He knows what you need to be able to reach your destination.
Stop questioning God.
Trust God to guide you.
When you need help understanding an issue.
Patiently ask Him.
He will speak to you as your Father.
Your life will be much easier.
Application to the Christian life:
