“When your friend comes to ask you for a favor, why would you say, “Perhaps tomorrow,” when you have the money right there in your pocket? Help him today!” Proverbs 3:28 TPT
Whatsoever God has blessed you with to give to a needy person do so promptly.
God has entrusted you with the resources so that you can be a blessing to others.
When you genuinely hear from God He will tell you what to give.
Who is that friend that God has sent your way?
Do your own part in the Kingdom Blessing by being a Blessing
Abraham did, and that was why He became a Blessing.
Owe no man anything except love.
”Don’t owe anything to anyone, except your outstanding debt to continually love one another,[a] for the one who learns to love has fulfilled every requirement of the law.”Romans 13:8 (TPT)
“Why would you withhold payment on your debt when you have the ability to pay? Just do it!” Proverbs 3:27 TPT
Look out to be a Blessing to a needy person today.
”Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.” Ecclesiastes 11:1 (AMPC)
”Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow” when the money’s right there in your pocket. Don’t figure ways of taking advantage of your neighbor when he’s sitting there trusting and unsuspecting.” Proverbs 3:28-29 (MSG)
“So tell me this: Why do our fathers worship God here on this nearby mountain, but your people teach that Jerusalem is the place where we must worship. Which is right?” Jesus responded,” John 4:20 TPT
Today’s modern evangelism is about inviting people to their church.
Hardly are young Christians taught the a.b.c..of witnessing.
They are not even encouraged to give out tracts, give a short personal testimony of how they encountered Jesus Christ and how their lives have turned around after repentance.
It simply invite them to the church and come and meet my Pastor /Bishop/Apostle….
“Wearied by his long journey, he sat on the edge of Jacob’s well. He sent his disciples into the village to buy food, for it was already afternoon. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.”
The Samaritan woman at the well asked Jesus “is it about the place of worship ?”
Jesus clarified that salvation is not limited to a particular place.
Salvation is not the monopoly of a particular “church.”
Don’t cast degrading eyes on someone who doesn’t belong to your church or ministry.
Jesus said to her, “You don’t have to wait any longer, the Anointed One is here speaking with you—I am the One you’re looking for.” John 4:6-8, 26 TPT
Introduce seekers to the True and Real person of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and encourage them to have a personal relationship with Him.
Not to your church
Not to your leader.
Thank God for your church and the leadership
Give that new convert the right start by knowing and experiencing a personal relationship with the Savior
Which is right?
It’s not entirely about which place to worship.
“Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That’s my gift to the conquerors!”
Revelation 3:20-21 (MSG)
Let that new convert know who conquered sin with His own Life so they can learn and live victoriously with Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.
“And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on water, and he came toward Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29 (AMPC)
Based upon the Word from Lord Peter stepped out by Faith and walked upon the waters.
Yes, Peter initially walked upon the waters solely upon the word he heard from the Lord.
Many of us look down on that story because after he started walking on the waters, he got distracted and began to sink.
However, that does not take away from the true principle that he heard the spoken word from Jesus and he obeyed.
Even when He began to sink he was almost at his destination because the scriptures tell us that Jesus reached out to him and pulled him to Him.
What Word are you standing upon today to walk towards your own miracle?
Peter heard clearly “Come.”
Jesus said upon this revelation, that is the given Word of God HE will build His Church. (Matthew 16:18)
By His Grace now you know better than to allow your background or the facts around you to distract you from your miracle. Peter being a fisherman permitted the analysis of the waters , considered the boisterous winds, and he began to sink.
Stay focused on the Word God has given you and do the miraculous you desire without the distractions.
“Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it’s really you, then have me join you on the water!” “Come and join me,” Jesus replied. So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk toward Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29 (TPT)
Walk towards your miracle today based on the spoken Word He has given You!.
“No one can see what you’re doing here in the backwoods of Galilee. How do you expect to be successful and famous if you do all these things in secret? Now is your time—go to Jerusalem, come out of hiding, and show the world who you are!” John 7:4 TPT
There are the right times and the right places for your purposeful life. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Some people wanted to push Jesus into the limelight based on their own calculations
However, Jesus knew when and what about his time(John12:23)
Do you?
Don’t follow another person’s timetable for your own life
Find out from God and not friends your own timing
”For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey him, and then helping you do what he wants.”
Philippians 2:13 (TLB)
”It is through him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, ‘Our lineage comes from him.’” Acts 17:28 (TPT)
Don’t allow popular opinion to run your life.
God who has commissioned you will provide all the resources you need including the time.
”The steps of the God-pursuing ones follow firmly in the footsteps of the Lord, and God delights in every step they take to follow him.” Psalm 37:23 (TPT)
Follow God at all times not the ”CNN opinion poll ” being given to you.
“Before I confessed my sins, I kept it all inside; my dishonesty devastated my inner life, causing my life to be filled with frustration, irrepressible anguish, and misery. The pain never let up, for your hand of conviction was heavy on my heart…..Then I finally admitted to you all my sins, refusing to hide them any longer. I said, “My life-giving God, I will openly acknowledge my evil actions.” And you forgave me! All at once the guilt of my sin washed away and all my pain disappeared” Psalm 32:3-5(TPT)
An essential aspect of the Christian life is confessing your sins to God.
You cannot become a Christian if you don’t confess your sins, repent and formally accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior
Why is the confession of sins so important?
Once you miss it open your mouth and talk to God that you lost it at that point and sincerely repent of it and with His help and the power of the Holy Spirit you will overcome.
The confession of sins will allow you to experience God’s forgiveness.
David said that after he confessed his sins to God, God forgave him.
The confession of sins will restore your emotional and physical strength.
Please, do not forget this: nothing will exhaust you more than the denial that you have sinned and without pausing to tell God in a few seconds what the missing the mark was.
Nothing will reinvigorate you more than a forgiven life.
The unbalanced Christian life is to assume that God “understands.”
The confession of sins will help you to move forward on your Christian path.
Unconfessed sins will prevent you from moving forward.
Confessing your sins will help you to grow in the faith
Your sin will stop you from becoming.
Your sins are preventing you from becoming more like Jesus.
If you want to become more like Jesus and experience spiritual growth, you need to confess your sins.
Thomas Edison once said: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10000 ways that won’t work.”.God is not giving up on you too.
Nothing else will help you apart from confessing your sins.
Today we live in a “fast positive faith-based Christian life” denying sin and true repentance all because we want to be positive in our confession.
True Love for God does not encourage you to offend Him and pretend as if nothing happened.
Yes, it is between you and God.
Make things right personally between you and God moment by moment.
The trumpet can sound at any time.
Live a holy and acceptable life before God at all times.
