Are You Doing Your Part ?

“When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” Matthew 8:5-10.
The centurion approached Jesus to come and heal his servanthowever in his prayer to Jesus he knew he had a part to do.
He had meditated and clearly thought out what God will do and what he will do. Unfortunately many of us approach God with the mindset that God will do 100% of our request once we ask him. That’s not God’s way. God expect you to do your own part of the deal too. Here the centurion needed to confess and act out his faith by opening his mouth to declare what he believed. Many of us don’t even figure out or think through our request to God. As we saw Jesus was willing to come to his house to heal his servant but his practical faith at work declared that the servant will be healed once Jesus spoke the word.
How are you approaching God for answers to your request?
God created us in His image and expects us to do our part in exercising dominion here on earth.
Today set time aside to think and properly hear from God what you need to bring Solutions to that challenge you are  facing.
HE is always willing but do you know the right things to say  and to do in getting your answers ?
Don’t just leave everything in God’s hand you have a part to do as well.

It is beautiful how God has done everything at the right time.

“It is beautiful how God has done everything at the right time. He has put a sense of eternity in people’s minds. Yet, mortals still can’t grasp what God is doing from the beginning to the end of time” Ecclesiastes 3:11(GW)
