He calls His sheep by name

by | Dec 11, 2017

“To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. “(John 10:3-4) KJV
What name do you go bye before God?
What name do you also call God?
When God calls you, indeed it means that HE knows your name and exactly where you are, but do you hear His voice.
God wants a close relationship with you and Himself. As the shepherd knows his sheep and calls them by name and they, in turn, know his voice and follow where are you in your relationship with God.
God called Mosses, Samuel, and Saul of Tarsus by their names they heard Him and responded.
Can you hear Him as He speaks to you today?
As in a closely-knit family they all know each other’s name and can talk with each other out of love and care, so also God wants to continuously speak with you and guide you throughout your purposeful life.
Do you hear Him when He calls you?
Remove all the distractions that are preventing you from hearing Him and come boldly before Him too and speak to Him also.
