Be diligent to understand the meaning of everything you hear

“Then he said to them, “Be diligent to understand the meaning behind everything you hear, for as you do, more understanding will be given to you. And according to the depth of your longing to understand, much more will be added to you.” Mark 4: 24

Don’t hear the word just for the hearing sake, listen to it with the sole purpose of understanding it so that your spiritual life can be progressive.

Many hear the scriptures, and usually, the attitude is “I know that passage.”

Yes we mentally know the Bible, in fact, some nonbelievers have read the Bible cover to cover, and it did not profit them spiritually because they just read it for knowledge sake.

From today change your attitude to how and what you hear from the word of God.

Take time to meditate on the meaning and the application of the Word of God you hear.

As you daily do this, you will see not only the transformation but also the fulfillment of your life’s assignment.

There a quite a lot of things competing for your attention every second including the time you pay to the word of God when you hear or read the word please pay much more attention to it.

Your true prosperity lies in the word of God you hear/read with understanding and resolution to apply it to your life.

“How well God must like you-you don’t hang out at Sin Saloon,  you don’t slink along Dead-End Road; you don’t go to Smart-Mouth College.

Instead, you thrill to God’s Word; you chew on Scripture day and night.

You’re a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month,

Never dropping a leaf, always in blossom.” Psalm 1:1-3 (Msg)

Be diligent to understand the meaning of everything you hear
