Men Ought Always to Pray – Part 1.
“I will, therefore, that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Timothy 2:8) KJV
Prayer is the means to reach the most unlimited resources available today.
We hear about limited resources, renewable resources, and numerous resource problems that humanity has gotten our earth into.
However, God will give answers to prayers to prove that He is unlimited.
Prayer is like breathing. It is as necessary to our spiritual health as the oxygen that fills our lungs and keeps us alive physically. We inhale and exhale all the time. Thus if we prayed as often as we breathe, we would be dynamos for God. But all too often spiritually, it seems we need much artificial respiration.
Many years ago, most churches had altars of prayers.
 Where are the altars today?
Many have been removed because the people did not use them.
The most important part of our life is our prayer life.
Prayer keeps the bride speaking to the bridegroom.
Prayer moves God to talk to the backslider and the sinner.
There is power in prayer. If we just use it!
Apostle Paul told Timothy that he should pray first.
All too often, we try everything else before we tap into the resources available in Jeremiah 33:3 and call on the Lord.
Paul himself said: “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.”
(2 Timothy 2:1)
We must get our priorities straight and make sure that we call upon the Lord first.
When we do that, God will answer.
He said, He would: “show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
