The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,” Isaiah 61:1-2 (AMPC)
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes  for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.”  Luke 4:18-19  (TPT)
Isaiah prophesied earlier what the Lord Jesus Christ would do.
Jesus Himself made the decorations at the beginning of His ministry.
What has the Spirit of the Lord enable you to do in this outgoing year 2019?
Reflect on the opportunities and privileges you have had.
What has the anointing of God upon your life and ministry enabled you to achieve?
Jesus was clear and focused on His mandate, which he carried out.
What is the purposeful assignment He has given you?
Take time to reflect and hear Him again as you approach the New Year.
What is the Spirit of the Lord, enabling you to do?
“The Lord’s Spirit has come to me because he has chosen me to tell the good news to the poor.”
What has the Spirit of the Lord chosen you to do?
