Don’t be afraid

Don’t be afraid
“But the angel reassured him, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God is showing grace to you. For I have come to tell you that your prayer for a child has been answered. Your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son and you are to name him John.”

Luke 1:13 (TPT)
God is always in the business of answering prayers.
He never fails.
As we have seen from the lives of Zechariah and Elizabeth, their prayers were answered.
In the eyes of an ordinary man, they initially appeared childless.
However, God has his own destiny for them.
Their child had been chosen by God to be the forerunner of the Savior.
Where are you in the plan and purpose of God?
God is saying to you too today:
“Don’t be afraid,…! God is showing grace to you…”
“Do not be afraid, …; your prayer has been heard.”
“Don’t fear, …. Your prayer has been heard.”
“Don’t be afraid, …! I have come to tell you that God has heard your prayer,”

The challenge with Zechariah was unbelief.
He responded:
“What proof is there for this?”
Are you asking God for evidence before you can trust and believe too?
Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, simply trusted, believed, and happened as God promised.
2020 is the Year of Creations: Say it and See it
What type of situation are you creating with the words of your mouth?
Zechariah had to be made dumb from that time of encounter with God till John the Baptist was born.
“This is my promise to them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I put in your mouth will not leave you. They will be with your children and your grandchildren permanently,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 59:21 (GW)
Don’t be afraid.
