Trust in the Lord even when it appears dark.

“Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God. Isaiah 50: 10
There are some moments in the life of a true child of God that it occasionally appears as if there is no light guiding you momentarily.
Don’t panic at such times.
Trust on what HE has previously told you. HE will surely show up.

After God told Samuel to anoint David as King he went through some challenges in his life that appeared like God never promised him the throne not to even talk of being anointed by a prophet of God.
Ultimately David became the fulfilled King.
Isaiah the prophet who penned the above verse also went through situations like that .
He almost gave up but he encouraged himself with the word of the Lord .

Today be encouraged and trust in the name of the Lord .
Hold fast to what HE has told you. The darkness you are experiencing is for a season .
Let your heart and Spirit man hold on tenaciously to what HE has told you.

“Next day, out on the high seas again and badly damaged now by the storm, we dumped the cargo overboard. The third day the sailors lightened the ship further by throwing off all the tackle and provisions. It had been many days since we had seen either sun or stars. Wind and waves were battering us unmercifully, and we lost all hope of rescue.”               Acts 27:18-20
Apostle Paul was assured that he would not only get to his destination but also there will be no loss of life of those with him on that ship but before it was eventually fulfilled there were moments “they lost hope of rescue”.

Be ye steadfast and unmovable in these times.
God will surely perform what HE has promised you.
We are serving a living God that never fails.
“I have a Father who will never, ever fail me.
I have a Father who will never, ever fail me.
Jesus is my father;
He will never ever fail me.
Rock of ages, never ever fail me.”
