You are sent by God.

You are sent by God.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21(KJV).
In our early days, many wanted to become this or that.
Eventually, you have become somebody in life.
Whatever your choice is, trust you find it purposeful.
However, once you become a child of God.
HE made you His ambassador
Are You His ambassador?
Jesus sent you to teach all nations.
He also sent you to represent Him.
How are you representing Jesus?
The way you behave and the things you do.
All should be an example of Jesus.
Everything Jesus did, and everything Jesus said:
Was according to the will of His Father.
Jesus sent you to do the same.
Can you represent Jesus?
Are You Daily Representing Him?
Application to the Christian life:
Adjust your life to comply with that of Jesus.
Leave your own desires and follow Jesus.
Submit to God.

The LORD came and stood there.

“Then the LORD called Samuel. “Here I am,” Samuel responded. He ran to Eli and said, “Here I am. You called me.”…“Go, lie down,” Eli told Samuel. “When he calls you, say, ‘Speak, LORD. I’m listening.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his room. The LORD came and stood there. He called as he had called the other times: “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied, “Speak. I’m listening.” 1Samuel 3:4-5,9-10 (GW)
We are all familiar with the story of God calling out to Samuel.
However, we need to pay attention to these scriptures again today.
Notice the three times God initially called Samuel:
He kept going to Eli.
He only heard the voice.
Even though he was living in the temple, he did not know God’s voice.
“Samuel had no experience with the LORD because the Lord’s word had not yet been revealed to him.” 1 Samuel 3:7(GW)
Are you familiar with being in God’s environment?
Do You know Him as your Lord and Savior?
Finally, when he was guided on knowing that it was God calling:
Two things happened.
He stopped running to Eli.
He focused his attention on God.
It was then God came and stood by Him.
God called previously to get his attention.
Now when he recognized God’s voice and turned to Him
God Spoke.
Before now, God had been calling, but God did not speak.
You can hear God’s voice and if your focused attention is not on him.
You may still be running to Eli.
Are you hearing God’s voice, but your attention is still on a man?
For God to speak to You, He demands your complete attention.
From that encounter, Samuel learned not to let go of God.
God stood by him.
He stayed daily focused and waited on Him for His Word.
No wonder the testimonies:
“Samuel grew up. The LORD was with him and didn’t let any of his words go unfulfilled.” 1 Samuel 3:19(GW)
Everyone knew God was with Samuel.
There was no publicity stunt, no manipulations.
“All Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew Samuel was the LORD’s appointed prophet.”1 Samuel 3:20(GW)
Daily Hearing from God, Walking, and Working with Him produces Results.
Is the Lord still standing by You?
Are You still abiding in His Presence?

The Lord is The Rock.

The Lord is The Rock.
The Lord is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Ps. 18:2. (KJV).
Do you trust God?
Really?
Do you commit ALL that you do to Him?
Is God the Rock on which you stand when you feel despondent?
Do You doubt that He will help you?
Do you trust God as the fortress where you can hide from your enemies?
The one that will deliver you from danger?
Can you trust God in everything?
He will help you.
He will protect you.
“…He is the Rock,… ” (Deuteronomy 32:3-4)

Submit to Him.
Be humble.

Stand thou here by Me.

Stand thou here by Me.
“Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.”
Deuteronomy 5:30-31. (KJV).
God instructed you to teach all nations regarding Jesus. (Matthew 28:19).
You cannot teach something you do not know yourself.
Therefore, God said: “stand thou here by Me.”
You must first learn from God.
You must experience God.
You must be with God.
Others may return to their “tents.”
You, as the teacher of the Word, must Daily learn from God.
Every day, learn at the feet of Jesus. (Luke 24:45)
Then you can teach others what you learned and experienced.
Then you can teach others what God told you.
Do you want to be a teacher appointed by God?
Do you want to make a beneficial impact?
Stand by Him and learn from Him.

Application to the Christian life:
Give your life to Jesus.
Learn from Him and follow Him.
Take courage and teach your friends.

I will do everything you tell me.

I will do everything you tell me.
“ She responded, “I will do everything you tell me.” She went down to the threshing floor and did everything as her mother-in-law had instructed her.” Ruth 3:5-6 (CJB)
The Key to the Breakthrough Ruth experienced was in the doing.
First, she listened attentively.
Next, she did everything she was told.
Are you listening?
Are you doing?
Are you listening and doing both at the right time?
Furthermore, Ruth was in the right place.
Yes, she was in the right place at the right time.
“When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step.”Psalm 37:23 (TPT)
“A person’s steps are directed by the LORD, and the LORD delights in his way.” Psalm 37:23(GW)
God guided Ruth’s steps because her delight was in the Lord.
“Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most.” Psalm 37:4(TPT)
You and I have much more than Ruth had.
We have the Holy Spirit residing in us.
Ruth’s Godly and timely counsel came from her mother-in-law.
As a child of God, the Holy Spirit is speaking and guiding.
Are you listening to Him?
Are you doing what He tells you to do?
“But when the Father sends the Spirit of Holiness, the One like me who sets you free, he will teach you all things in my name. And he will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.” John 14:26(TPT)
Make that quality decision today to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
Resolve Completely to do what He tells you to do.
Do it promptly too.

What did Ruth see that Naomi did not initially see?

What did Ruth see that Naomi did not initially see?
” And Naomi said, See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law. And Ruth said, Urge me not to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God.” Ruth 1:15-6.
Naomi, Ruth’s mother-in-law, had seen so many tragedies and failures that made her put limitations on what God can do and had resolved to just fold her hands in an all hope is lost attitude.
Ruth had inner convictions.
While Naomi was looking at the facts of life.
What we sometimes call empirical evidence.
Apparently, Naomi had knowledge of Yahweh that she and her late husband shared with their two sons from where Ruth as a wife to one of the sons, had a purposeful encounter with the God of destiny.
Ruth, in the text above, positively confessed that Naomi’s people shall be her people.
She knew inside of her that her journey to the purposeful fulfillment of her life destiny was in following Naomi to connect with her people.
She did not allow the incidents of the death of her father-in-law, her husband, and his brother to shake her off her God-given destiny.
How are we today allowing one or two incidents to derail our God-given destiny?
One experience of disappointment had made some people walk out of marriage, business, and personal relationships.
Yet precisely at the beginning, you know what God has explicitly told you about the relationship.
We quickly find offense with the church, pastor, or ministry where God has specifically assigned us to blossom and be fulfilled.
(Please check out this link on the Subject of “Blossoming Where You Are Planted.” https://sunday-class-school.com/blossom-where-you-are-planted/)
It could even be an idea that heaven has revealed that will prosper us, but two or three disappointments have made us abandon that dream.
To some, it might be the failure of an examination.
Has that made you given up on the career and profession altogether?
Today I want to remind you of the inner conviction of Ruth that made her stay true.
She believed, confessed, and acted on her purpose.
Her life today is linked with the lineage of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Many Christians today wrongly depend on social media to form opinions and make crucial life decisions that should be Bible-based.
Are you one of them?
Let God be your guide, search the scriptures and spend time in prayers.
Be like Ruth and stay true to your destiny, and do not limit yourself to life’s current circumstances like Naomi initially did.
