The Fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
Can you always be joyful?
Really?
In All situations and Circumstances?
How joyful are you when you fail an exam?
How longsuffering are you when you are in a hurry and your friend is late?
How gentle are you when your friend bumps your car?
What if it is even a total stranger on the road?
It is easy to have all the characteristics of the Holy Spirit in good times.
Can you do the same in dark times? Jesus did.
Do you bring forth the fruit of the Holy Spirit?
What challenges are you facing today?
Are you manifesting the Fruit of the Holy Spirit to handle the situation?
Application to the Christian life:
Bring forth the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Ask God to help you.

How to Grow in Faith?

How to Grow in Faith?
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17) KJV.
“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.” (Hebrews 4:2) KJV.
We all know that faith comes from hearing the Word of God.
We can all testify to how the Word of God works with power in our lives.
Do you remember the moments when God spoke to you wonderfully through His Word?
You enjoyed reading His Word, studying it, and hearing sermons from His Word!
Do you still experience such?
The Christian life is more than confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
It’s not enough to read the Word of God.
We need to live in a way that pleases God more and become more like Him.
To do so, we need:
To look for opportunities to trust God more.
These opportunities will continue to come through the challenges we
handle.
Keep Trusting God!!!
Believe that He will be on your side, no matter how.
If we are His, He will care for us
no matter our problems.
This doesn’t mean that God will respond the way we would like Him to.
It means that He will respond according to His will.
This strengthens our faith for the difficult times that will come.
It’s not a new thing.
The world is getting worse and worse. This is another good reason to trust God.
Are you really growing in faith?
Application to the Christian life:
Trust God and improve your faith.
Learn through experience that God will help you.
Remember His previous help.
He will see you through this challenge too.

Jesus prayed for you! (2)

Jesus prayed for you! (2)
“I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” John 17:15. (KJV).
Why did Jesus not ask God to take us out of the world?
Why did God put you in the world in the first place?
You are in this world to make your decision and to prove you will stay with your decision.
What do you choose?
The good or the evil?
Can you do it by your own strength?
The choice and the proof for your choice is yours to make.
If you choose the good:
Jesus knew you would be unable to keep your decision on your own.
He knew you would fail.
Therefore, He asked His Father to protect you.
Everything Jesus asks from His Father, He will receive.
Jesus asked His Father to protect you. You will be protected.
“Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ ” Isaiah 41:10(NKJV)
Application to the Christian life: Remain under the protection of God. Serve God.
Obey Him.

Jesus prayed for You! (1)

Jesus prayed for You! (1)
“I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.”
John 17:9. (KJV).
Did Jesus give His life for everyone?
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:21.(NIV)
Who did Jesus pray for?
He did for those who are His.
Those called by God to be His.
In the beginning, God gave man wisdom.
He gave man the ability and privilege to choose between good and evil.
When you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you choose well.
When you choose the good:
You also believe in God and follow Jesus.
You also choose to obey God.
That is why God loves you.
That is why He will protect you.
That is why Jesus prayed for you.
Just think about it.
You are so important to Jesus.
He did not only give His life for you:
He also even prayed for you!
Let this truth impact you positively.
Jesus knows about your challenges.
He has prayed for you.
Listen to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will guide you in making the right choices.
Let it sink in.
Jesus prayed for You.
What difference does this make in your relationship with Him?
Application to the Christian life:
Trust God.
Follow Jesus.
Keep the commandments of Jesus.

Remain Patient.

Remain Patient.
“To them who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.”
Romans 2:7. (KJV).
Why am I still serving God?
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Are you facing some difficulties right now?
Has someone asked you :
“What are you getting for all these?”
Sometimes some of your friends that don’t serve God appear prosperous.
Nothing bad seems to happen to them.
Are you losing hope?
Do not give up hope.
Be Patient.
He will soon answer your questions.
In His own time, He makes all things beautiful.
Continue patiently doing God’s will.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9(KJV)
